Winter Book Group: The Five Invitations

Join us for our winter book group, reading Frank Ostaseski’s The Five Invitations: Discovering What Death Can Teach Us About Living Fully. The choice of this book came directly out of conversations in our community around life and death, presence and absence, clinging and softening around control. Frank is one of the most tender and experienced teachers around learning from this essential part of life, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to explore this text with the community.

This session of our book group will differ slightly from past sessions, as we will have more community discussion sessions and less homework! I will send our weekly emails with your reading assignments and some points to reflect on, but the bulk of our conversation will happen during two online discussion sessions, to be held on Friday January 28th and Friday February 11th, both at 8pm on Zoom. You are welcome to join the group even if you can’t make it for both sessions.

I highly suggest ordering the book from your local book seller as soon as possible to make sure you are ready to start on January 10th!
